-Hanging with the Bratcher family whom I adore and are so helpful!

-BJS with Ashwin for catching up time cuz hes leaving me for Oregon!

-Treasure Island Beach with Marshall and Faye

-A sweet date night at Eureka Burger with Jose

-Dinner with my bud Andrew who is almost moving!

-A good date with Lacanilaos!

-Going through Matthew 6 and 7 in church gatherings and seeing my sweet brothers and sisters who love me so! I will be seeing them tonight in Pomona! YAY!

The Verse Project yes yes yes. a sweet sister sent this to me knowing i was struggling with LOVING the word, having scripture taste as sweet as honey. so im so glad to see this refreshing site that will be food for my soul.

Eating Dinner Together

I read a blog on eating together at the dinner table and its main points were as below... Eating together... Helps you connect
Provides an opportunity to practice gratitude
Helps you relax
Encourages mindful eating
Improves nutrition
Is fun
i love these encouragements! Man... my family USED to eat together, talk to one another, and ask about our days with no tv. Then I think as we grew up, we began to see each other less. We love to watch certain shows altogether as a family, so those meal times became lets catch up on the show we missed. But then.. theres no conversation. The convos come as we fly in and out of the house. I need to be more intentional with eating with my family and if we are catching a show, to be mindful to speak with them afterwards about life. Because life is fleeting before me and these moments are rare I can speak with my fam on a daily basis. I cannot neglect them due to my laziness to engage them and me wanting to be lax in watching hours of television. It will probably be a "tradition" in my house then when I, Lord willing, have my own husband and children- no tv during dinner time. no phones or games or distractions. Enjoy one another, love one another, eat together, and bless one another in Spirit and truth.

June BababaBOOM!

My camera battery is dead!!! I havent been able to take pictures ALL MONTH and it feels so weird! :( Lots have been happening but i am ready to rest MORE! As I grow in my busy busy schedule, I feel a lack of peace, communion with God, and time to read. I have been intentional with my time as of late to be spending it with the Lord, so i am hungry for righteousness.

BUT in everything, I try to be thankful.

-going to a bbq at jesscas place :)
-getting pieology with coworkers

-throwing pam an all girls party for gifts and advice
-rehearsal for the wedding and dinner aferwards
-a 80s themed part for the sanchez's bdays!
-pam and aaron getting married!! WEE finally! it was beautiful :)
-sister graduating!!!!

-dinner with Joses bff Mark :) He has been nothing but kind to me :D
-watching hockey finals and spurs BEAT the heat!
