I am a fan of... GREAT EMPLOYEES!

I think every so often I will share something random that I really like. Something that makes me giddy which typically doesn't make others AS GIDDY. haha

Here we go!

YES! I am a fan of great employees. My sister and Jose will probably know this better than anyone else. Every time we go to a place of business including Disneyland, restaurants, stores, and I am helped by an employee who has a great disposition, I will say once that employee walks away "AWWW i like him/her!!! What a great worker!!!" I love enthusiastic people who enjoy their job, work hard, and serve us as customers. It is a gift to me. Its a fantastic attitude I often lack.

It has gotten to the point where in my phone I have a list of about 15 employees from disneyland who has made my visit so fun! My sister and I plan to go to the main street office one day to write their names day for Mr Disneyland Employer to recognize them! :D An example of one would be this amazing guy at Star Wars! AMAZING. He was the one who seated us on to the ride, and then he did a great monologue including jokes from the movie and had us buckle up. Then he proceeded to tell us to "tug" the handle to make sure it was secure. so he pointed at each person and said "tug, tug, tug, tug" to the melody of the darth vader theme song! we were all laughing!!! BUT i didnt get his name! I was so sad. His character was on point! Oh man.

So again, on behalf of customers everywhere, I give thanks for workers with a great attitude. It makes us enjoy our experience and we are grateful.

Things on My Mind

-I have been so blessed by Jose teaching systematic theology. Dating the man, I get to see the silly side of him, the deep thoughts, the joys, and pains of his heart. But watching him teach and his enthusiasm to know God more is so encouraging :D It certainly is just a bonus for me as I continue to grow more fond of him that he is giving me these bits of knowledge for my joy in Christ! He taught most recently on God's plan for a believer's redemption. Here we go so I never forget!! 1. Election. 2. Gospel Call. 3. Regeneration. 4. Conversion. 5. Justification. 6. Adoption. 7. Sanctification. 8. Perseverance. 9. Death. 10. Glorification.

-Persecuted Christians :( MAN how do we hold on to hope and see that God is good and wise when I see that my brothers and sisters are being persecuted and killed in Iraq... so so so heavy on me. What to pray: miraculous protection, ways to flee from persecutors and hunters, provision of a home and safety for refugees, that persecutors very much like paul would come to faith and be transformed to love Jesus Christ, that believers would persevere, be strengthened and continue to witness the Gospel.

-Lately, I definitely havent been going to God with prayer requests unless someone tells me, then I immediately do so. I havent made the time, have been lazy, complacent, busy, unfocused, distracted...and simply I dont come to God because I dont believe He will answer me in His good and perfect way. Things that are really really important to me i pray for like twice and i give up... I need to fervently and persistently be praying to God my needs of my hearts knowing He will answer every single time. Keep knocking. Keep asking.

-Keep me accountable! I want to not just meetup with a bajillion people throughout my week and talk about God, but really encourage them in the word, be in the bible, and even my own reading, be reading, praying, filling my soul with truth and life giving scripture!!!! I really need to get better at this- not because itll give me a better salvation, but because my joy in Christ will grow.

-Honoring my parents is difficult at times- but worth the testing of my patience, emotions, for the glory of the Lord. Trying my best to be a light as they struggle to see my POV on certain things and my stage of life. Will continue my best to love them them the best I can so they will see what a gracious, all providing and all sovereign God I believe in :D
