Faith is invigorated and enlarged by his work in them watching others sing! It helps us to see our hearts' praises confessions and resolutions are shared. It's about listening and singing! New hearts can't help but echo the word that has give them life. We sing to own and affirm the word. Singing of salvation means we've owned it! We sing to engage our emotions with gods word, it evokes and provokes the hearts joys griefs longings hopes sorrows..it aligns our emotions and affections to Gods. We sing to demonstrate and build unity. We're to let peace rule and be thankful as one body.
The Reverberation Prays
This increasingly conforms to the intentions of God's word. We adore, confess, give thanks, ask for things which his word tells us to. Christians should pray for the sake of God's name.. that His glory be displayed on earth. When we confess sin we know we have fallen short of his glory. When we lift requests, we are praying His name will be hallowed. Christians should pray for God's rule and will on earth. That we see God's kingdom rule expanded and displayed, the holiness and love of God's people making decisions strange to the world for evangelism and conversion, the local church and expositional preaching, for foreign nations hearing gospel and ability to gather freely to worship. Christians should pray according to scriptural priorities- provide for daily needs, forgiven of sin and ability to forgive others, ask for holiness and to flee from sin, be burdened for others. In church spend prayer time praising God, then another confessing sin, the. Intercede for the church and other churches, the city and other authorities and around the world!
The Reverberation Disciples
There are lots of people, problems, stickiness, and delayed results. Discipleship brings love and unity, want better holier things for one another, speak to one another differently, serve another more, help each other right sin. Follow the word together. Church membership- publicly affirm professions of faith in the word of the gospel, exercise oversight of our discipleship to Christ while we're on earth to spur one another to love and good deeds, establish a people among who Jesus can place ministers of the word. Discipleship works through affection, instruction, and imitation, affirms differences, and is church wide. The elders or pastors who are charged with keeping watch over my soul and will have to give an account requires leaders to equip the saints for the work of ministry by training members for speaking the truth in love to one another, both sit under the same ministry of the word. This includes correcting sin with church discipline. It is necessary when God's word appears to have gone silent in someone's heart. They choose sin and no wanting to do otherwise. It's unrepentant sin. This should be practiced for loves sake, love for the weaker sheep who can be led astray, love for non Christian neighbors who need to see a holy witness and love for Christ and his reputation. Out of discipline comes righteousness and peace.
The Reverberation Scatters and Once Again Invites
Creation exists for the church which exists for the praise of gods name. The church will show his manifold wisdom and must scatter to gather others in. Love all people but have a special love for the gathered church. Do good physically and socially but most importantly invite the world to accept gods promise of forgiveness through Christ and to join the church in enjoying and praising this forgiving God. Share the gospel in love, without fear,humbly, hope, courteously and carefully. Stress that the decision is costly, urgent, and worth it!!!!!
